Android Apps
Open the app, ensure you’re signed into the Google account used for the purchase, and your purchase will be recognized automatically.
Make sure you’re signed into the correct Google account. Purchases on other accounts can’t be restored.
Yes, some in-app purchases can be shared through the Google Play Family Library if the developer has enabled this feature. Not all in-app purchases are eligible — it depends on the app and the type of purchase. Please check the app’s details on Google Play to see if Family Library sharing is supported.
Visit Google Play Help (support.google.com/googleplay), select “Request a refund,” and follow the instructions.
Open Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, then manage or cancel your subscription.
iOS Apps
Open the app, go to settings or parent section, and tap “Restore Purchases.” Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID you used for the purchase.
Check that you’re using the same Apple ID. Purchases can’t be restored on a different account.
Yes, some in-app purchases can be shared with your family through Apple Family Sharing if the app developer has enabled this feature. Not all in-app purchases are eligible — for example, subscriptions and consumable items are usually not shared. Check the app’s information on the App Store to see if Family Sharing supports its in-app purchases.
Open Settings > Your name > Subscriptions, then select and cancel your subscription.
Use Apple’s Guided Access in Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access to restrict the device to a single app.
Delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store.
